Ive heard from others in the league that the CHEAPER Tour Skates have had problems with their boots and the plastic not being strong enough. (So the second wheel on the left side rubs down to a point) Go with high end skates like these and you should be fine. Mine fit comfortably and are great, but I’ve heard $200 and less size 10+ have a problem with the boot.
In the end, it’s another great product in the Tour Cobalt family: 490, 9.9, and Q hockey skates. These guys do know their roller hockey and inline hockey!

Hands down, these RBK 10K skates are the highest of the high end. I can’t believe how comfortable they were. I couldn’t even keep my friends away from them!! While I can’t say my performance went up because of these skates, I do love zipping around the rink more with these than my last ones. They can be a bit snug on my feet which makes them hard to get off. They just fit like a glove. If you want to save some money go with the 8K or even 4K models. But if money is no object, this is a safe bet for your inline hockey skate fix!

The Reebok 8K Pump roller hockey skate is meant for skaters that demand their skates perform. It has a huge array of high end features including dual material quarter, Rink Rat hornet wheels, and extruded aluminum tri-di lite chassis. This skate is light yet stiff, and has a focus on comfort with the Clarino microfibre liner. It comes with ABEC 9 bearings, and wheels setup in a 72/76/76/80 formation.

These RBK 8K skates are meant for the serious inline hockey player. Rugged and light, I’ve really enjoyed them. The hockey skates run a bit wide for me, but the liner is good and soft and I can cinch it down so it’s a snug fit. The stock setup is nice too, so you don’t need to buy extra wheels or bearings. If you are looking for a midrange skate, go with the 4K. (Or 10K for the top top end) But for most people these are all you’ll ever need.

These skates are great! Only problem I have with them is that the bearings that come with the skates don’t spin that fast. I definitely suggest changing them out, as I did, with ABEC 9′s. Yea they’re more expensive but if you’re going for speed, you’ll want to change out the factory bearings. As with any new pair of skates, expect your feet to be sore after the first couple of times you go out with them until they are broken in. Overall the RBK 6K is an awesome inline hockey skate! If you have more money to blow, take a look at the 10K model. Or if you are just starting out, go with the cheaper Reebok 4K hockey skates.

This is my first hockey skate and my first time to play roller hockey in my life. The build quality seems solid, and Reebok is a strong brand in the inline skating community. I bought my shoe size and the hockey skates fit very well. Overall I would recommend the RBK 4k to any beginner. Choose the 6K or 10K if your inline hockey game is advanced, though.

So I’m a beginning hockey player and I’m not ready to make a commitment to $300 for a pair of hockey skates. After trying on a bunch at the local shop, I fell in love with the RBK 1k. Affordable and comfortable enough, I knew it would work. So I popped online for the best deal. Been wearing them a month and no major complaints. If you have more money to spend look at the 4K or 6K, otherwise this is a great start for inline hockey.
